Solanki CC win Sharjah tournament
Abdul Rehman smashed a brilliant half-century and Saeed returned with a three-wicket haul as Solanki CC defeated Commercial Bank International by 25 runs to win the Sharjah Junior T-20 Tournament, organised by the Sharjah Cricket Council.
Solanki CC, batting first, did well post to a healthy 192 for eight in the allotted 20 overs. Abdul Rehman led the batting with a scintillating 76 off just 44 balls.
Mohammed Umer (37 off 22 balls with seven fours) and Nasser (28 off 12 balls) kept the momentum of the innings going with some fine batting. Usman Kutty and Hitesh took two wickets each for CBI.
CBI, in reply, were bowled out for 167 in the last over despite a fluent innings of 70 by Usman Kutty. His knock off 45 balls contained seven fours and four sixes. Shailesh (27) and Kunim (23).
