Skyline University won their opening match with ease
Skyline University College thrashed University of Sharjah by 146 runs in the inaugural match of the 15th Skyline Cup Inter-University Cricket Tournament at the Skyline cricket ground.
12 teams are participating in this year’s tournament and are divided into 4 pools. The tournament is conducted on a league-cum-knock-out basis.Earlier, Dean of the Skyline University Dr Amitabh Upadhya inaugurated the tournament.
Skyline who won the toss elected to bat first. Star batsman Salman Babar and Milesh Soni opened the innings and the duo put on a splendid partnership before Salman was caught by Abdul in the 10th over with the teams score at 110.
