Telco’s AGM to approve cash dividends of 40 fils per share for H2 of 2023
The pressure was on and competition was fierce as this month’s open was the last chance for players to qualify for the Grand Final which will be played on Friday 11th May.
In this penultimate event the windy conditions and morning rain would play a large role and the usual tricky pin positions would prove to be a tough ask for many of the competitors who were participating in this better ball stableford format. In the end it was Abdel Aziz Salem and Hisham Shammas who were victorious, seeing off the competition with a superb final score of 48 points.
The highest points total of the season was helped along with a birdie net eagle by Salem on the par-5 13th hole and then another by partner Shammas on the 15th.
Net birdies on the final two holes by Salem capped off an incredible back nine of 27 points.
Also making a plus forty score of on the day was Creek member team of Neil Taylor and Shreyans Khemka who totalled 42 points to secure second place.
