Rehan’s unbeaten knock of 76 runs steered American University of Sharjah (AUS) to a convincing five-wicket victory over University of Wollongong in Dubai (UOWD)in 14th edition of the Skyline Cup at the Skyline ground in Sharjah, according to a Press release.
Rehan, who opened the AUS innings hit three towering sixes and eight boundaries during his 55-ball knock. Rehan was well supported by Hammad, who scored a patient 23 off 22 balls as AUS knocked off the winning runs with three balls to spare.

Earlier, UOWD, batting first, set up a respectable total of 162 runs for the loss of six wickets at the end of the allotted 20 overs. The UOWD top-order comprising Zeeshan (40 of 41 balls), Omer (30 off 22) and Anish (26 off 27) were among the runs. However, the UOWD middle-order failed to capitalise on the good start.
In the another match, Heriot Watt University beat Canadian University by 70 runs. Aqib Malik (46) and Adnan Khan (27) impressed for Heriot Watt. Canadian University’s Ronak took four wickets for 34 while Mobin claimed 3 for 35. In reply, Canadian University were all out for 78 in 17 overs.
