A thrilling match featured the start of action in Al Ain Premier League (APL-2013) at Al Ain Sportplex on last Thursday.
PakInd defeated Rak Royals by 3 wickets in a last ball thriller.
Batting first, Rak Royals accumulated a respectable total of 143 runs for 7 wickets in their quota of 20 overs.
Lenoy scored 47 runs (3 fours, 1 six) and Nagraj hit 27 (3 fours, 1 six).
Anil Devgan of PakInd troubled Rak Royals batsmen by taking 2 wickets for 26 runs in 4 overs. Hikmat took 1 wicket for 19 runs.
Chasing 144, PakInd top order started well as they scored 41 runs in the power play. Their middle order consolidated the good start and were as ease by 16th over needing only 37 runs with 6 wickets in hand.
However, Nagraj and Dasun had different plans as they took 3 quick wickets in no time, pushing their opponents in awkward position.
PakInd requiring 8 runs in the final over reached their target on the final ball.
