Pacific Ventures made their mark at Insportz Club, after defeating Danube in the semi-finals. Pacific Ventures, batting first, set a target of 51 runs, after a superb knock of 22 runs by Sachin.

However, Vikrant’s six wickets for Danube kept Pacific Ventures at bay. The pressure was on for both teams, with Pacific Ventures having to defend a low target and Danube facing one of the strongest bowling and fielding teams of local indoor cricket.

The game looked almost over in the 11th over after Danube had reached 50 runs with 5 overs to go. However, Rohan Nayyak changed the course of the game, after claiming 2 wickets in his over which turned out to be the catalyst for his team, as Pacific Ventures restricted the opposition to 46 runs.

In the other semis, Xpress Money delivered a swift blow to the Knight Riders in a thriller. Xpress Money scored 76 runs in the allotted 16 overs. The Knight Riders were unable to get off to a good start and finished at just 23 after Xpress Money proved invincible in bowling, with Aneesh, Usman and Atif taking 4 wickets each.
