With the opportunity of being invited to the exclusive du LaLiga High Performance Centre (HPC) within arm's reach - talents from Northern Emirates played with determination and purpose to impress the LaLiga Scouts.
The du LaLiga HPC is the first-of-its-kind for LaLiga out of Spain, providing football talents across the UAE a unique opportunity to receive the highest standard football training, equivalent to the level of training and development they would receive from LaLiga in Spain until they reach the age of 18 and can move to Spain.
Speaking about the search for talents in Northern Emirates Rafa Gil, scout and head coach from du LaLiga HPC, said "With the addition of the U14 category last year and U12 this year, we can now start to scout talents from the age of 9, which means that we can invest in their development for upto 9 years, giving them a solid base on which to build their professional football careers."
"We are not only looking for players who have the best technical skills, but also those who have a great passion for football and demonstrate growth potential. In Northern Emirates we have seen some great potential talent and look forward to seeing them again in Dubai in April when we conduct the final scouting trial," continued Gil.
The du Football Champions Clinic will provide the nation's 180 best football talents with the finest opportunity to showcase their skills before the final selection of the top U18, U16, U14 and U12 players, who will begin their training at the du LaLiga HPC in April.
The players in the U18 and U16 category will travel to Spain in August for a 3-week training clinic and competitive matches against some of LaLiga's strongest youth clubs, where they have the chance of being discovered by LaLiga.
