Land and Bishop top Xerox Rd 3

David Land from Bluu Gulf and Karl Bishop from Tyrsis, triumphed with a net 65 to claim the third round of the 2013 Xerox Corporate Golf Challenge, at the Doha Golf.

The duo now have the opportunity to compete at the Grand Final taking place at the Emirates Golf Club on October 23.

A total of 78 teams with 156 players participated in the third round of the tournament.

Runners-up in second place were Joseph Cordera and Beth San Jose from Qatar Rail with a 65 net. Third placewent to Abdulrahman Al Bishi and Saleh Ali Al Kaabi from Qatar Golf Association (66). The other winners in the event included the ‘nearest the pin’ which went to Katsumi Aoki from Almana and Terry McGuire from Doha British School, and the ‘longest drive’ winners were Pol Porto from Commercial Bank of Qatar and Joseph Cordera from Qatar Rail.

The tournament is supported by main sponsors AVIS Rent a Car and ABB and co–sponsored by ECCO, Crystal Gallery, Park Hyatt Abu Dhabi Hotel and Villas, VPAR, Dubai Golf, Scorpio Golf, Khaleej Times and Golf Digest.
