Hosts Dulsco will take on Hologram Players CC in the inaugural match of the 14th Dulsco Ramadan Cricket Tournament on Friday at the Zabeel Park Cricket Ground, here, at 7.30pm.
On Saturday, last year’s winner Multiplex will play against Global Distributions and on Sunday last year runners-up Carfare will take Friends 11. The tournament is organized by Dulsco Sports Club and will be played under the auspices of Dubai Sports Council with one match being played everyday from 7.30pm for 23 days and the finals on July 11.
Twelve team are participating in the tournament and have been divided into three groups with matches to be played on a league-cum-knockout basis of 20 overs each. Coloured clothing will be provided to the teams.
The winners will receive Dh5,000 and the runners-up Dh2,500 alongwith trophies and medals. Individual prizes for best player, best batsman and best bowler will also be awarded.
