Tajammul, principal of Al Sadiq School, welcomed the guests and the parents.
Al Sadiq School defeated Gulf Indian High School, Dubai by 114 runs in the opening match. Batting first, Al Sadiq piled up a huge total of 160 for 4 wickets in 15 overs.
Openers Majid and Bilal put on a 99-run. Majid scored 48 runs made with four boundaries and a six. Later, captain Zahid, who came one down smashed a quick 49 runs which included seven boundaries and two sixes.
In reply, Gulf Indian High School seemed helpless in batting as well. They lost their openers for no score in the very first over. Then the wickets kept on falling with regular interval with less runs on the score board. Finally they were all out for just 46 runs.
