Iftikhar made 61 from 31 deliveries. Sajjad Saeed then joined Shah and the duo took them to a mammoth 257 for three. Saeed made an entertaining and unbeaten 55 from 22 balls with six sixes and a boundary. The duo also shared a 92-run stand for the third wicket.
In reply, Petroleum Institute were shot out for 102 in 17.1 overs. Sajjad Saeed also shone with the ball, taking three for 11. Zeeshan Safeer picked up three for seven, whil Asim Khurshid and Owais Aftab took two each.

Put into bat, UBL made 208 for four with Abdullah Afzal making an unbeateh 89 from 41 deliveries. He also put on an unfinished 126 for the fifth wicket with Naeemuddin Aslam. Aslam made an unbeaten 38 from 26 balls.
Ijaz Basheer scored 33, while Amjad Ali made 25. Royal Gymkhana were restricte to 147 for four, in reply. Mohammed Asif scored 39, while Faisal Mustafa made an unbeaten 31. Mohammed Kaleem scored 27. Ahmed Raza took two for 23.
In a tightly bunched Group A, Nissan Al Masaood logged four points from three matches after a victory over Emirates Cricket Board Blues.
