Dubai — The Duindigt racecourse in The Netherlands will stage the second leg of the Shaikh Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan Cup race series’ European Triple Crown on June 28.

The European Triple Crown in the Shaikh Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan Cup series organized by the Shaikh Mansour Bin Zayed Al Nahyan Global Arabian Horse Flat Racing Festival comprises of three races in France, The Netherlands and Poland.

Al Mouwaffak, ridden by Julian Auge, won the first leg over 2000metres on April 17 in Toulouse, France, to stay unbeaten in four starts. The second leg on June 28 will be run over 1900metres in Duindigt with the total prize fund for the Group 3 race being €35,000.

The third leg will be held in Warsaw, Poland, and the horse with the maximum points from the three races will be eligible for the bonus for topping in the Triple Crown. The Shaikha Fatima Bint Mubarak Ladies World Championship race will also be held on June 28 in Duindigt.
