The prize distribution ceremony was attended by Thani Juma Berragad, chairman of the Dubai Club for the Disabled; Rashid Amiri, director of Dubai Sports Channel; Salah Amiri, Obaid Al Shamsi and Abdulla Rafia, assistant director generals of Dubai Municipality. Hussain Nasser Lootah, director general of Dubai Municipality, praised the DM team. ‘‘We thank all who participated in this championship and we want to continue this every year with more attractions and wide participations so that our differently abled brothers and sisters would never feel that they are isolated in our community,’’ he said. ‘‘In tune with the ambition of Shaikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, civic body aims at making Dubai one of the most disabled friendly cities in the world,’’ Lootah added.
