This strategic link-up was announced at a Press conference in Raffles Dubai’s Al Jazeh Room on Tuesday morning, when the DSC’s deputy chairman, Mattar Al Tayer, and Joel Bouzou, the founder and president of P&S, jointly signed the partnership agreement.

The first P&S Middle East Forum will take place here in April 2013 as part of this new initiative. This launch event will be held under the patronage of Shaikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman, DSC.

It’s expected that more than 200 key figures will participate in the debates over three days this time next year.

“We are very proud of the partnership that we are signing with Peace and Sport – an organisation whose international reputation honours us,” Al Tayer said.

“It’s a first step in the policy of the emirate of Dubai to: promote human development; fight poverty; spread knowledge; empower young people and give them the means to become self-reliant; promote communication and tolerance between cultures.
