DSA was set up by Abu Dhabi Racing in partnership with the National Health Insurance Company – Daman in October last year and has already attracted a great deal of attention from across the region.

Applications for the new season are now being accepted from aspiring young drivers. Candidates are welcome to test out their driving skills by attending a free session at one of the three nominated race tracks: Yas Kartzonne in Yas Marina Circuit, Dubai Kartdrome at Dubai Autodrome and Al Ain Raceaway. Application forms can be downloaded from the Daman Speed Academy website www.damanspeedacademy.ae, or picked up on location. The form has to be completed and also signed by the applicant’s parent or guardian in order to participate in the test session. Following a strict evaluation process, eight successful youngsters will be offered places at the Daman Speed Academy where they will receive expert tuition and guidance aimed at providing an excellent grounding to enable a possible future career in motorsport.

The circuit racing and endurance star, Managing Director of Abu Dhabi Racing, Khaled Al Qubaisi said: “I am delighted to announce that applications for the new season of Daman Speed Academy are now being taken. The UAE has a wealth of talent which it is imperative we nurture and invest in. In line with the Abu Dhabi’s 2030 Vision to diversify and enhance local talent and capability, DSA is designed to foster this talent and help generate committed and performance driven Emirati stars who will play an important role in placing the UAE on the motorsports global map.”
