Al Sadiq cricket semi-finals today

Delhi Private School, Dubai and hosts Al Sadiq ‘A’ maintained an unbeaten three-game streak from Group A and B respectively, en route to the semi-finals of the second Al Sadiq Inter School U-10 Cricket Tournament.

In the semi-finals to be played today, Delhi Private School, will take on Our Own Indian School, Dubai while the second semi-finals will be an all Al Sadiq affair with the ‘A’ team taking on the the ‘B’ team.

In the last league encounter of the tournament played on Monday, Al Sadiq ‘A’ maintained a clean sheet as they beat Our Own Indian School by a narrow two-run margin.

Al Sadiq ‘A’, batting first after winning the toss, piled up 60 runs for the loss of one wicket. Mohammed Fahad top scored with 23 runs while Ahmed contributed 13 runs to the team’s total.

In reply, Our Own Indian School, came agonisingly close to achieving the target, before scoring 58 runs for the loss of four wickets at the end of the allotted 12 overs. Adarsh Ajay Kuamr (18) and Srinivas Akula (11) tried their best for Our Own Indian. Mohammed Fahad of Al Sadiq ‘A’ was named the man of the match.
