Al Azhari is TRD 86 Cup champion

Karim Al Azhari was crowned the champion of the TRD 86 Cup, following Round five and six held at the Yas Marina Circuit.
In a fitting end to what has been a truly memorable motorsports season at Yas Marina Circuit, the fourth and final round of Yas Racing Series also marked the end of the inaugural TRD 86 Cup — the circuit’s first homegrown championship.
Despite a second-place finish in the first race of Round 6 with a time of 21 minutes, 32.24 seconds, Al Azhari went on to win the second race in 21 mins, 49.119 seconds, claiming his place at the top of the TRD 86 Cup leaderboard with 238 points.
Ahmed Al Melaihi was declared runner up with 194 points while Sam Taheri came third with a total of 178 points.
