This year’s main area of focus is “Rethink GCC/Gulf-Peak oil and beyond and the key note will be by Dr Adnan A. Shihab-Eldin, Director-General of the Kuwait Foundation for the Advancement of Science and former Acting-Secretary General of Opec who will highlight the “Changing World Energy Landscape and its Geopolitical Challenges and Opportunities”.

The event, which is to be held at the ball room of the Raffles Hotel in Dubai on November 16, will be the event to visit to learn about the kaleidoscope of opportunity and issues Austria and Austrian businesses have to offer.

Austria’s relevance as a business partner to the UAE has grown with each passing year. From being involved in countless iconic projects such as the Burj Khalifa, floating bridge in Dubai, the Capital Gate Tower and the Louvre museum in Abu Dhabi and many others, Austria has worked alongside the UAE in developing an infrastructure and landscape that is second to none. Austrian companies and their subsidiaries have grown organically in the Middle East using the UAE as a launch pad into the greater GCC and North African frontier.
