No additional fees for retailers seeking promotion permits in Dubai

Dubai - The move comes in a bid to support the retail industry.

Dubai retailers who apply for promotion permits over the next three months will be exempted from any additional fees.
According to the Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing, those who have applied for permits at the DTCM or the Department of Economic Development will be exempted in order to support the retail industry during this time. (Coronavirus outbreak: All the latest updates)
Moreover, as an exception for the period up to April 23, 2020, including Spring Summer Collection Launch and Dubai Home Festival, both sales and offers promotional permits for all categories in parallel will be enabled. This will allow retailers to select a suitable campaign for their business.
Companies can apply for the sales or discounts permits through the DTCM Connect portal.
