Oppo Middle East and Africa on Tuesday introduced its latest flagship smartphone line-up, focusing on photography features that will help content creators do more while staying connected faster.
The new Reno4 series includes three devices - the Reno4 Pro 5G, Reno4 Pro and Reno4 - which are all back by advanced AI innovations.
"The Reno Series has always been a pathbreaker in smartphone camera technology," said Ethan Xue, president of Oppo Middle East and Africa.
"Living up to Oppo's mission of elevating life through technological artistry, the Reno4 Series introduces fun and new ways to 'own the night' by using the trendy phone's innovative technology to express creativity."
The Reno4 series combines aesthetics and technology, with advanced features packed into a slim build. All three devices have photography as a key selling point in an age where content creation is continually gaining traction.
The top-line 6.5-inch Pro 5G has a triple-lens camera with a 48MP main sensor and laser direct auto-focus, which the brand says gives up to 142 per cent faster focusing speed. Its ultra night mode capabilities also promises clearer photos and videos in dark situations.
"It not only delivers powerful performance but also enables a connected lifestyle through the power of 5G," Xue added.
Oppo also introduced its newest wireless earbuds, the Enco W51, which comes with improved active noise cancellation.
Pre-orders for the devices begin tomorrow and, for a week, free wireless headphones will be given as gifts: The Enco W51, W31 and W11 will be bundled with the Reno4 Pro 5G (Dh2,499), Reno4 Pro (Dh1,999) and Reno4 (Dh1,499), respectively.
Pandemic help
Oppo also detailed its efforts to support the global community during the coronavirus pandemic, dishing out a number of programmes as part of its commitment as a global brand.
"As a global company, Oppo not only cares about the safety of its employees and partners, but most importantly we are aiding humanity in the fight against the pandemic," Fadi Abu-Shamat, director of strategy and planning at Oppo Middle East, said at the event.
"It is our social responsibility to enact positive change any way we can."
He pointed out that Oppo had sent humanitarian aid - including more than 300,000 face masks, over 1,000 litres of hand sanitisers, food and essential items - to several countries across the globe. It had also produced educational videos to promote awareness during the pandemic period.
Oppo had also extended expired warranties during a special period from March 23 to May 23 in the GCC and other MEA nations.
