The meeting discussed the matters relating to the financing of shares of companies under formation. This was the first meeting of the newly reconstituted board of directors of the central bank which was reconstituted this week. The Governor in his remarks lauded the services of former Governor Sultan bin Nasser Al Suwaidi for the efforts he made over the past decade in the strengthening the financial system.
