Dubai — Max, the largest value fashion brand in the region, showcased its well-received summer/Ramadan 2015 collection at a spectacular event at the Ritz Carlton Hotel in the upscale Dubai International Financial District recently.
Guests enjoyed a first of its kind, Max fashion show. Set against a backdrop of the exotic island of Mykonos, where the retail giant’s summer campaign was shot, attendees swayed to the soothing sounds of waves lapsing to the shore as they were transformed to the island themselves. In true grandeur form, the catwalk was live streamed across Max’s social media pages, and selected stores, so that fans all over the world could enjoy the latest display of styles from Max.
The Max summer collection brings a crisp clean feel with lots of white. White on white is the latest trend giving numerous silhouettes a clean fresh feel. The smarter collections remain classic with the ever-trendy monochrome trend that carries through from previous seasons.
This season however, Max revives the 70’s essence of boho chic as well. Max honours the holy month of Ramadan with a separate collection that encapsulates the grandeur of this season with a majestic series of styles.
As guests enjoyed canapés and refreshing beverages the smooth sounds of the live saxophonist playing traditional Arabic folklore songs with a jazzy twist, radiated across the ballroom.
