Speaking at a suhoor gathering for Jafza customers who started operations in the free zone within the last year in Dubai, Al Janahi said that the government’s ongoing investment in infrastructure, the continuous expansion in the port and free zone, and Jafza’s unique position at the heart of a multi-modal logistics platform which links air, land and sea, offered an unparalleled mix for growth and prosperity to its customers.

Besides being rich networking opportunities, such gatherings give Jafza officials firsthand knowledge of the requirements and the global market challenges of businesses operating within the free zone. The direct interaction with customers allows Jafza to serve them better, facilitate their operations and respond to their needs.

Al Janahi also spoke of Dubai being the ideal city to host Expo 2020, which would not only benefit Dubai, but the entire region.

“With more than 200 nationalities calling Dubai home, it is the most eligible venue for such a significant global event,” he said.
