Having a problem with anything Huawei or just want to know what's the latest from them? The company will be opening a hub just for you.
Huawei Consumer Business Group has bared plans to open its first 'Experience Store' in the UAE at The Dubai Mall, in a bid to bolster its position in the market, especially in the crowded smartphone segment.
The store will be located at The Dubai Mall, and will be fully-equipped to offer hands-on product experience. No date has been determined, but Huawei says it is expected to be revealed "over the course of the coming months".
The outlet will also cater to device testing, troubleshooting and shooting cover shots, with Huawei's latest smartphones, the P10 and P10 Plus.
The first Experience Store in the UAE and particularly Dubai is also a testament to Huawei's commitment to the country, where it is enjoying a good following. The company presently has 47 service centres in the region with two dedicated outlets in the UAE - one each in Dubai and Abu Dhabi.
"The UAE is a key market for Huawei globally and the company sees Dubai as a city that is strategically located to reach consumers in and around the region," Huawei Consumer Business Group CEO Richard Yu said in a statement.
"With the store's strategic location, we aim to provide our consumers a compelling space to connect with the Huawei brand, our latest technologies and products at a more personal level."
Huawei added that it will be revealing more details about the Experience Store over the coming months.
