Galfar Gets RO18.5m Contract by Vale
MUSCAT — Galfar Engineering and Contracting has been awarded the contract for carrying out the civil works for the construction of the nine million tonnes per annum (mtpa) pelletising plant being constructed in Sohar by Vale.
The contract, signed between the two sides here, is valued at RO18.5 million. Vale, a leading global mining company with headquarters in Brazil, employing over 100,000 people worldwide, while Galfar is the largest construction company in Oman.
