Emirates Post Holding Group Net Profit Surges 30 Per Cent
DUBAI — Emirates Post Holding Group said its net profit in 2008 rose 30 per cent from a year earlier to Dh247 million on improved revenue of its business units.
“The increased revenue achieved in 2008 indicates the postal business is buoyant, as witnessed in the rising volume of postal items,” said Abdullah Al Daboos, president of Emirates Post.
The holding company’s subsidiaries include Emirates Post, Emirates Commercial Postal Services,
The company said it will expand its postal network this year and is spending Dh100 million for
construction projects.
