Economic Planning Forum in Fujairah

Abu Dhabi: The first UAE Economic Planning Forum will take place in Fujairah on October 28 and 29 to discuss issues related to economic planning, industrial development and SMEs.

The two-day forum is an initiative of the Abu Dhabi Department of Economic Development, with the support of the Ministry of Economy, in which local economic departments will participate, it was announced by Mohammed Omar Abdullah, Undersecretary of the Department of Economic Development.

At a briefing, Mohammed Obaid bin Majed, director-general of the Fujairah Department of Industry and Economy, and Mohammed Saleh Shalwah, Adviser to the Minister of Economy, were also present.

Abdullah said that this annual forum will discuss means to boost joint cooperation, strengthen communications and future coordination and exchange ideas and experiences between the departments of economic development, in areas of planning and development of policies in coordination with the Ministry of Economy to achieve interaction and integration in preparation of plans, strategies and visions for the future.
