Dubai Cable Company (Ducab) has announced the appointment of Dr Ahmad bin Hassan Al Shaikh as the company’s new chairman of the board, effective March 2015.
This is Dr Al Shaikh’s second period as Ducab chairman and he takes over from Eng. Jamal Salem Al Dhaheri, chairman of the board from 2013 to 2015, who replaces Dr Al Shaikh as the vice-chairman.
Dr Al Shaikh is the director of Ducab High Voltage and Ducab Aluminium Company and is holding active roles in several UAE decision-making bodies.
The latest branch is the second branch of the company at Sahara Centre and one of the eight branches opened in the UAE this year, the exchange house said in a statement
