“We are pleased with our participation at this world-class event, which keeps on adding to Dubai’s successes year after year. Gitex 2012 concluded with our recognising active members of the community who won in the campaign raffle draw, ‘Serving you more with eConvenience.’ The success of the ‘Serving you with eConvenience’ campaign gives us confidence that adoption levels of the latest Dewa eServices will continue to increase based on our offering the most reliable, efficient, and convenient services to our customers,” said Marwan bin Haider, CIO and vice-president of IT at Dewa.
Dewa’s customers have been involved in a reward scheme where they were the given the chance to win attractive prizes for paying their bills online through the website www.dewa.gov.ae, or through mobile (mPay). The eligibility for entering into the draw to win prizes depended on using three selected eServices (electronic bill payment, final bill request, activation of supply request) during the period between 1 August and 11 October, 2012. The prizes included 10 Samsung smart TVs, 10 iPads, 10 iPhones, and 10 Samsung tabs.
