Citibank services disruption on Sunday
DUBAI - All Citibank services will be unavailable to its customers in the UAE for nine hours on Sunday due to system maintenance.
The US bank already informed its customers about the service disruption on October 14, with a reminder on Thursday through an e-mail.
The 200-year old bank said services that will be unavailable include Citibank call centres, Citibank branches and financial centres, including teller transactions, transactions at Citibank and non-Citibank ATMs, payments using Citibank debit card, Citibank Online, Citi Mobile and Citibank Alerting Service.
“All Citibank services will be unavailable due to system maintenance from 3:00 am to 12:00 pm [noon] UAE time on October 21, 2012,” the bank said in the e-mail alert to its clients in the country.
“In order to facilitate your banking requirements, our branches will be operational for extended hours till 8pm on October 21, 2012. Please use this information for planning your banking transactions and to withdraw cash in advance,” according to the e-mail alert.
