“In addition to the new routes and frequencies by Air Arabia — the biggest carrier in Sharjah International Airport that has a bright reputation among travellers and always offers excellent packages — new airlines that launched flights to Sharjah International Airport, additional services by existing airlines, as well as the attractiveness of Sharjah as a business hub and tourist destination [have helped].”

He noted that the ongoing projects carried out by the airport will contribute to stimulate the companies operating at Sharjah International Airport and will increase its capacity.

Al Midfa added: “It is a result of team effort; I must place on record my appreciation of the contribution of the staff at Sharjah Airport Authority, the Department of Civil Aviation and the various government entities operating here. It is their combined efforts and the efficiency of their systems that ensures services of the highest standards of quality which make our customers come back for more.”
