Bank of Baroda recently celebrated its 107th foundation day at its zonal office in Dubai. Consul-General of India to Dubai Anurag Bhushan graced the occasion.
The bank’s chief executive officer, K.V. Rama Moorthy, paid rich tribute to the founder of the bank, Maharaja Sir Sayajirao Gaekwad III, for his initiative taken 107 years ago for establishing a bank in a small princely state of Baroda. Today, the bank has grown into a great organisation with over 5,100 branches in 25 countries globally.

He also lauded the efforts of the many visionary leaders who have made significant contribution in the progress of the bank over the period of the last 100 years. The chief executive also thanked the customers who stood by the bank in creating the organisation of today’s stature and repute.
