Abu Dhabi - Aldar Properties launched three new residential developments in prime areas of Abu Dhabi, including in investment zones where property can be purchased by non-UAE nationals.
This was announced ahead of the opening of the ninth edition of Cityscape Abu Dhabi which begins on Tuesday at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre. Pre-registration of visitors is up by 26 per cent compared to last year, oragnisers Informa Exhibitions said.
“Our three new developments, West Yas, Mayan and Meera in Yas Island and Shams Abu Dhabi will meet demand across all segments of the market. We will offer 2,000 homes to the Abu Dhabi market. The year started with the launch of Al Merief in March and ground breaking at Ansam and Al Hadeel,” Mohammad Al Mubarak, CEO of Aldar, said.
Talal Al Dhiyebi, chief development officer of Aldar, said Abu Dhabi continues to see strong demand for residential product built with the infrastructure and amenities that have come to signify community living.
“Meera will fill the gap in the market for a mid-market product on Al Reem Island.”
West Yas will offer over 1,000 premium villas on Yas Island for Emiratis. The development is in a waterfront location overlooking the mangroves.
Mayan offers a mix of over 700 residential units, including apartments, townhouses, villas and penthouses with views of the Yas Links Golf Course and the mangroves.
Meera at Shams Abu Dhabi is a mid-income product in Al Reem Island. Meera offers over 400 affordable family homes. - business@khaleejtimes.com
