Al Futtaim Motors expands in Abu Dhabi
Al-Futtaim Motors, exclusive distributor of Toyota, Lexus and Hino in the UAE, announced the receipt of the lease agreement for its new facility in Madinat Zayed, Abu Dhabi, from the General Authority of Islamic Affairs and Endowments (GAIAE).
Expected to be completed in the third quarter of 2015, the facility will be home to two separate Toyota and Lexus showrooms, and a shared service centre that can cater to over 50 vehicles per day.
The land handover ceremony was held in the presence of Khaled Al Neyadi, executive director of Awqaf Affairs at GAIAE; Jon Williams, managing director of Al Futtaim Motors; and Yousuf Al Raeisi, general manager of government relations at Al Futtaim Motors; in addition to a number of senior officials from both organisations.
