The award comes in line with the directives of General Shaikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces and Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council, to launch excellence award programmes at each Abu Dhabi government entity.

The programmes are designed to augment the Abu Dhabi Award for Excellence in Government Performance and contribute to the achievement of its goals.

The award aims to encourage performance excellence across all Adnec’s operational departments and promote a culture of quality and transparency — making them essential components of Adnec’s working environment.

It will also contribute to promoting a competitive spirit between departments whilst contributing to the development of employees so they are able to achieve globally recognised levels of best practice.

Ali Saeed bin Harmal, managing director of Adnec, said: “The launch this internal excellence award is another milestone of success in the development of our business, continuing on from our ISO certification, receiving the Shaikh Khalifa Excellence Award, participating in the Abu Dhabi Award for Excellence in Government Performance, and the many international awards that Adnec has secured within the last few years.”
