It's the time for having and hosting family and friends over. With the great weather and, of course, DSF, one might have to expect visitors.
So, here I share a few tips to help you shop for your home, keeping your budget in mind in order to get that dreamy look you have always wanted.
Home shopping can be tricky if you are clueless, but let's go through a bunch of ideas to help you out.
So, grab your coffee, and a notepad. Lets' get started.
Functionality: Ask yourself which rooms you are purchasing for. What are your common activities in that room? For example, if you working on a cosy family room, do you eat there? Do you read? Do you need a workstation?
From your answers, you should be able to identify your actual needs, and any possible items that need special forecasting. By now, you should have a list of items.
Take measurements: Get your measuring tape and start measuring. It's important to get the right measurement. Or, if you love gadgets, consider getting a laser digital measure to make life easier. Simply start by measuring the sizes of the pieces you need to buy, be it a new sofa or a nightstand.
Know the right size that will fit in your space. You don't want to end up with furniture that won't fit through the door, or something that's too small. Remember, never get something that's too big that it eats up your entire space.

Select your colour scheme: Maybe you have a favourite colour, maybe you would like to mix and match. Do your homework and research.
Colour is a good addition to your space, you can keep it simple by adding cushions, accessories, rugs or curtains of your choice. Or if you are more on the bold side, it could be your furniture and even the walls. Sometimes, it can even be as simple as adding the right flower to your vase.
Now that you know your needs, you know exactly what to buy, the right sizes and the colours that will fit into your space. So, wear those comfy shoes, and have fun shopping!
