Coronavirus: Oman reports 1,099 Covid-19 cases

The Oman health ministry on Thursday reported 1,099 cases of the Covid-19 coronavirus, along with 3,427 recoveries.

Six new deaths were also reported.

With this, a total of 72,646 cases have been reported in the Sultanate, while recoveries stand at 51,349. The death tally is now at 355.

Among the new cases, 979 were Omanis, while 120 were non-Omanis.

As many as 3,344 new Covid-19 tests were carried out in the country, taking the total to 287,588.
