With its 24th edition in full swing, Global Village, one of the most-awaited seasonal family destinations in the UAE, is back to satiate the wanderlust; where else can you experience some of the world's unique shopping, dining and entertainment, and enjoy impressive landmarks of 70+ countries without breaking the bank? Open until April 4, 2020, the venue has amped up the excitement this year with new shows and activities that are sure to mesmerise the young and young at heart. Here are some novel attractions you must watch out for:

Fact or fiction?

Step in to discover a collection of bizarre and fascinating artefacts that you wouldn't believe exists! Ripley'sBelieve It or Not!® will make you think twice with its remarkable portfolio of the weird and wonderful, including real shrunken heads and skulls, mind-boggling illusions, and other natural, scientific, artistic and human oddities, making it the first-of-its-kind in the region.

Motorheads unite!

Get set to gasp and marvel at the 'Stunt Show Survivor', where vehicles defy gravity and zoom through obstacles. The action-packed show will have you gripping the edge of your seat, as stunt cars race against flames and explosions!

Come one, come all

The circus is back to display awe-inspiring talents from across the globe - ranging from the mesmerising Russian Swing to the laughter-inducing Colombian Clowns. The funfair will also showcase daredevil feats in the Motorycle Ball of Death.

Spooks galore

Unravel the mysteries of Transylvania Towers, as you ride through the hotel-themed attraction. A special vehicle will take you through gripping scenes and animation, complete with music and special effects.

For the adrenaline junkie

Hop aboard the Moscow Max, an extraordinary pendulum ride that's sure to knock your socks off, as it gives riders a sensation of weightlessness. And that's not all; brace yourself for an added swing over and self-car loop!

Relax and rejuvenate

If you simply want to unwind and enjoy fantastic views of Global Village and the Dubai skyline, take a ride on the Wheel of the World. Be it day or night, the 60-metre-high illuminated ride is a calm and relaxing option for the whole family.
