London - Lot 63 established the new world record price for any handbag sold at auction in Europe.

Lot 63, a shiny blue marine porosus crocodile diamond Birkin 35 with 18 carat white gold and diamond hardware, established the new world record price for any handbag sold at auction in Europe.
Lot 63 was sold for $196,540 (approx. Dh725,225 ) in the ongoing handnbag auction in London.
Two weeks ago Christie's also established the highest price ever paid for any handbag at auction in the world at $379,261 (approx. Dh1,393,285) in Hong Kong.
