We, the citizens, and our rights are constantly over looked. The YouTube ban issue has been dragged along for a very long time now. It is disheartening to know that our authorities aren’t doing much regarding lifting the ban.

Pakistan is a developing nation and as much as I want to make an effort for this nation, I cannot. As a developing nation, it needs to grab every opportunity it gets to grow. Banning YouTube is doing more harm to us than it was assumed (attacking our beliefs). Being a university student and belonging to the field of media, it is my humble request to those at the helm of affairs to look into this matter.

Google recently stated that many countries have a local version of YouTube that
allows them to adapt it accordingly to their needs. If Pakistan resolves this matter, it would help many students nationwide in their learning.
