World Summit should throw some ideas on how to protect our planet

This refers to the report calling for dialogue to shape up our collective future on the sidelines of the World Government Summit (KT, Feb. 11). The forum very aptly emphasises how much governments can go deep into the heart of people and help develop the communities to create an innovative and better future. Of course, a lot depends on the cities and townships, its people and leaders, on their willingness to turn ideas into realities. We know the importance of preserving nature and environment, and the more aggressively we tackle such issues now the easier it would be for our future generations. But this can only be done through close involvement of governments and people. We must together work to narrow the gaps in terms of thinking and implementation of projects. Let the summit conclude on a positive note.
