Why have kids become so sensitive these days? A lot of them cannot handle pressure of examinations, how will they manage in life? Parents know the importance of education and hence ask them to study. Instead of crumbling under pressure, why not talk to parents, teachers, seniors, if need be. School should also guide students. Thank God, the missing boy from Sharjah is doing fine (Missing boy found, thanks to an angel; KT, Nov 25). Exam results, no matter how good or bad they are, do not mean the end of the world. Failure is essential to learning and growing. But how many of us are failing to instil these vital lessons in our children? How many of us are able to address these issues? And how many of us are inadvertently pushing kids in a way that they are losing their confidence? A bit of soulsearching by parents and caregivers will surely help in strengthening the bond between the two. - Shaila K, KT website
