What ails India’s congress?

Apropos Ishan Joshi’s letter (Rahul Gandhi’s delusion, Feb 27), I would like to state that the Congress is a “cancer” that has spread to every aspect of administration and governance in India over the last 10 years and is now threatening the very existence of the country.

Unless and until strong measures are taken by Indians to remove this cancer through chemotherapy in the form of parliamentary elections 2014, the country will succumb to this deadly disease called the Congress.

I don’t belong to or support any political party, neither the Congress nor the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) but I feel sad that the venerable office of the prime minister of India has become the laughing stock of the world.

Regarding the letter Rahul Gandi’s delusion, I would like to remind the author that Narendra Modi became the chief minister of Gujarat replacing Keshubai Patel and then became the prime ministerial candidate of the BJP because he was chosen by the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS). It is a myth that he worked his way through showing performance. He is where he is today because he furthered and is part of the hate philosophy of the RSS. Modi’s fans either deride or spread hate about their political opponents.
