On August 28 the UAE celebrated Women's Day. Khaleej Times did an exemplary job of recognising outstanding Emirati women and thus motivating more to come forward to conquer and contribute. Five Emirati women pilots are flying five Emirates flights to five continents! What a noble approach to celebrate this day. Couldn't think of a better way. And, here is what I thought. This is the best the leadership of a country can do for its people: recognise their achievements, keep them inspired and motivated, and allow them to grow. While the UAE is keeping its doors open to people of all nationalities, the leadership is doing every bit possible for its people to grow, excel, and conquer. What is even more praise worthy is that the leadership is always there at the forefront to recognise its people. Congratulations to the people of the UAE and the leadership. His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, once said: "The race to excellence has no finish line." That is vision, that is wisdom.
