The magic of Enid Blyton

I came across your article on Enid Blyton which really impressed me (The power of imagination: How Enid Blyton changed my life, KT Nov 3). Enid Blyton opened my world to books, too. Since then I have been intrigued by the world of fiction.
I believe it's these books that I read as a child which sort of got me to fall in love with words, and later into writing. Very much an amateur at it and doing a corporate job, I felt connected as soon as I read your write-up. How did Enid Parker find her writing voice? I have been putting some of my write-ups on instagram. But apart from that, I have no clue on how to get into this field here in the UAE. Once again, it was a heartwarming sight for me to come across an article on Enid Blyton in the morning. It's like someone finally understood the magic touch of Blyton's stories.
