The latest information released involves a memo from the CIA to the FBI about an anonymous call to a British newspaper, warning that a major event was about to take place in the US and that the American Embassy should be informed. Twenty five minutes later JFK was shot and killed. Clearly this is proof that his murder was a sophisticated conspiracy involving international actors.
Surely the call made to The Cambridge Evening News should have been brought to the attention of The Warren Commission. Fifty four years after the shots that changed history, Americans are talking about the Kennedy assassination all over again. Uncertainty surrounds the number of shots fired, although most witnesses heard three shots fired within a period of five seconds. It seems that five bullets had been recovered, a fourth was found in fragments in the car. The fifth bullet was found by Dallas Police Officers after the shooting. Lee Harvey Oswald never fired the third shot that hit the President's head and exploded, as he was using 6.5mm ammunition. There was more than one gun in play that afternoon and there were two distinctly different types of ammunition flying around the killing zone. The Kennedy murder will never be solved in our lifetime.
