I'm an expatriate living in Dubai. Since Covid-19 became a pandemic, I have seen nothing but positive action being taken in the UAE (Covid-19 in UAE: Sheikh Mohammed announces additional Dh16 billion stimulus pack, KT, March 22). I wish other countries follow this ex-ample. Thank you for taking the initiative and ensuring well-being and safety of us all.

. I really appreciate the efforts of the government. As a resident I am very keen to know how this can help individuals who earn on a very small income. How can the government support employers who are unable to pay salaries as normal productions / sales disrupt and dent the cash flow of the companies in the private sector. I also know a few friends who are unemployed. This situation has put a lot of worry into the minds of many who are struggling to make their ends meet. We are still waiting to hear from government on assis-tance related to the common utilities and basic amenities, especially for mothers with in-fants and young kids.
I am a bit concerned about regular day to day living of expats living in Ajman and working in Umm Al Quwain we have very little facilities.
