That led me to take the Oman-Hatta road and come back on Ras Al Khor Road again after crossing the long and lengthy no U-turn road of Dragon Mart. Then again back on Ras AL Khor exit, there was traffic jam. It took more than one hour to pass a stretch of 8km. But to my surprise, neither was there any accident nor any developmental work. The traffic was moving at a snail’s space because some construction workers were removing mud from the road that had accumulated over the flyover for reason unknown. The point is why can’t that work be done in a rapid way enabling the traffic to move ahead at a faster pace. It has become a tendency to slow down the traffic for no rhyme or reason. Vehicles should pass through adjacent roads leaving aside the stretch under maintenance or construction on its own.
