RTA’s made a wise decision to impose Salik to reduce the congestion on the main highways during peak hours. The residents of Dubai are grateful for this decision.
But there’s also a humble suggestion for the authorities. They can give the drivers a concession on Salik on Fridays and public holidays, when all the roads are almost empty, especially during the morning.
This would be an added advantage for the public who haven’t registered to the Salik, as they can drive through the newly developed roads and places in Dubai even from other Emirates.
