If these schools keep hiking the fees then soon they, too, will become unaffordable. It is important to understand that there are people from diverse financial backgrounds in the UAE. Just like we have different markets, different restaurants and different vehicles for these people so that everyone can afford it, why can’t there be a similar system for education too? Certain schools should be completely government funded and a minimum threshold income should be defined. If parents earn below that income, then their children should be eligible to study in these schools. Children are the future of the world. No child deserves to receive poor education just because his parents can’t afford it. This is a collective responsibility.
